They are adept at using the best style for the given situation. These managers achieve goals and results more quickly by selecting and utilizing a leadership style for the situation. Employees are at different readiness or developmental levels. The adept leader learns to match the readiness level with the appropriate leadership. By using the appropriate leadership style, the effective manager can grow and develop highly effective teams.

Determine their preferred style.
Assess employee readiness levels for a given task or situation.
Acquire skills to modify their leadership style to fit any situation.

Every person has a unique behavior style - a set of behavior expectations about how they prefer to communicate, carry themselves, and interact with others. The more adept a person is at identifying and understanding behavior style preferences - and then adjusting to meet the style of others - the faster strong relationships are built. The person that learns to adapt their behavior style to communicate and interact with others will consistently establish a Positive Emotional Connection.

Participants in this workshop will:

Learn the four basic behavior styles.

Stress Management

Gain control over stress while projecting a professional image.

Stress has been identified as the number one roadblock to achieving customer satisfaction. Whether stress comes in the form of dealing with upset customers or coworkers, long hours, or an increase in customers, stress can have a great impact on a person's ability to remain confident, poised and professional. The key for individuals is to recognize that they have control over how they respond and act in any situation.

Identify causes and effects of stress in the workplace.
